SWITZERLAND

Beautifully jagged mountains, walking trails winding through the passes, yodels echoing up from below, cowbell gamelan orchestra, absinthe, fondue and amazing skiing. 

My wife and I met in Switzerland, so the country will always hold a special place in our hearts. We have visited three or four times since, in different seasons. Once we stayed a week in a mountain lodge under the Matterhorn, watching the moon peeping from behind the mountain and getting first tracks on the ski trails down to Zermatt or to Cervinia in Italy.
