FRENCH POLYNESIA

Oh my god the food … oh my god the snorkeling … oh my god the mountains. I would need a lot of gods to live in French Polynesia. We had a second trip to French Polynesia planned in October 2021 to see the Marquesas and the Austral Islands — but it got shut down by covid. Hopefully we’ll be able to reschedule our date to swim with humpback whales on Rurutu.

Five gorgeous island chains spread across an area the size of Western Europe, French Polynesia has awesome snorkeling, hiking, food, and — the national pastime — plenty of opportunities to do nothing and feel good about it!
