Travel is a mind-opening pursuit. Our own misconceptions and prejudices have been blown away on trip after trip, all amazing. Somehow, we have to become bigger inside with each trip, to hold all that amazement. The time taken to explore the incredible places on this site has been some of the best times of our lives. Even more than that — since my wife and I met while traveling, we know that travel can be life-changing in the best possible way. Do it. Continue to do it. In the meantime, travel vicariously through the photos below, and maybe find inspiration to visit some very special places.
If you like nature, landscapes and wildlife, you’re in luck! We love to find places of amazing natural beauty (or places which have returned to nature), and the royalty free travel photography below reflects this. There is a lot to see, from many countries. On our journeys, an occasional city is wonderful, but in proportion to the amount of time natural beauty has existed versus human works have existed. Or something like that.
This royalty-free travel photography gallery will continue to grow as we continue our travels. In the last year or so we have completed several major trips: Antarctica and Argentina to see our seventh continent, Tierra del Fuego and Patagonia; Ecuador to see the Galapagos and the high Andes; Pakistan to trek to K2 in the Karakoram Range. Each of these trips took about three-and-a-half weeks. These photos and many others are available to see below. We are currently planning trips to British Columbia in Canada and Indonesia (Java, Bali, Komodo and the Lesser Sunda Islands). I’ll be bringing a guitar to write some travel songs.
Enjoy the beautiful views of our world captured in these photos, purchase a professional print up to 24″ x 36″ if you’d like to beautify your walls (we have several of these framed in our house), and perhaps we’ll bump into you at one of the world’s great places.
