Snorkeling, cactus, and the so-called ‘green flash’ … I watched every night as the sun set, but never saw the green flash that’s supposed to be common in the tropics.

Just north of the Venezuelan coast in the Leeward Antilles, Bonaire is considered a diver’s and snorkeler’s paradise. More than 20% of its land area and 100% of the surrounding waters are national parks.
