PANAMA

Beautiful rainforests, beautiful lakes, beautiful coast and of course the canal, Panama has much to see. We visited areas rich with wildlife — boating on Lake Gatun and the Chagres River, hiking in Parque Nacional Soberanía and Isla Parida up the Pacific coast towards Costa Rica.

We very much enjoyed the scenic old city of Casco Viejo with its beautiful old churches, cobblestone streets, ever-present black vultures, and great view across the bay to modern Panama City.
